Oliver's Story
In September 2002, a hungry, scroungy li'l bug-eating kitten baby was mewling around in the woods of Turtletown, Tennessee, when a kindly woman (who was en route to mule school, no less) rescued him from that hard life and nasty menu. The starving babe and the kindly woman immediately shared a few emergency French fries. Love.
Brought home to Georgia (comfortably close to Ducktown, no less), Oliver ("The Fur Ver") now lives with his big brother Bob ("The Bobbers").
Well fed and happy, Oliver is afraid of chickens, bears and dogs on TV. Bob is afraid of nothing.
Oliver is not afraid of travel. He accompanies his mom to work every day and at Christmas time went on a secret mission to see diva Renee Fleming at the Metropolitan Opera, leaving his mom behind. Pining. While in New York, Oliver visited the Statue of Liberty, took in a show on Broadway, a museum, the East Side, the Upper West Side, and all around the town. At least he brought back snapshots.
Then there was his trip to India.
But that's another story....
